Newsletter #12
[07/2022]
Dear all,
I’m still ‘on my little cloud’ as I’d say in French after all the love received during my first solo show a few weeks ago. I’m slowly landing back (and finally catching up on admin work!) with the joy of being able to share this precious moment with those of you who couldn’t make it!
Below you can access the catalogue, installation shots, some close-ups of the newest work and insights into the whole project! Also sharing what’s coming next in terms of shows and teaching for the upcoming months.
Thanks for reading!
Opening, my first solo show!
Click here for a blog post with pictures and thoughts reflecting on this very daunting yet immensely joyful milestone: my first solo show which happened in London at the end of June.
And here’s a direct link to the exhibition catalogue, feel free ton contact me if you like a piece!
Hope you’ll enjoy!
Mall Galleries: Award Winning Artists
I’m delighted to be part of this show coming up in a couple of weeks at the Mall Galleries, thanks to having won two Prizes recently through the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours. This time I’ll be presenting one of my latest oil and pastel piece ‘Among the Garbage and the Flowers’.
The exhibition is already up online, and looks incredible I must say!
27 July - 6 August, 10am to 5pm
Late night opening until 8pm on Wednesday 3 August
Teaching in Provence
I’ve been teaching at the Dulwich Art Group & School since January and can’t express how much joy those weekly sessions have brought me! Needless to say I gave a big YES! when offered the opportunity to teach a whole week in Provence this coming October!
There’s still some space left so if you’re tempted you can find all the details here on their website.

As I mentioned in the previous newsletter, I’m also about to wrap this first chapter of my life in London - not with the intention to leave this place for good (it can be a bit of a love and hate situation with this crazy city, but my heart likes it here for sure). I’m just filled with a desire to expand my horizon again, to travel a bit and hopefully learn a third language before I decide to settle again! So I’m in the process of selling my home-boat in order to be even more nomad for the time being. Off to new adventures!
This big move won’t be before the end of September, as I’ll be busy getting a whole new body of work ready for the group exhibition Lookers!, sharing walls in the beautiful converted church of the Islington Arts Factory with my deer friends and peers Inma Garcia-Carrasco, Anastasia Pollard, Hero Johnson, Melissa Scott-Miller and Edith Dormandy.
23-30 September - Islington Arts Factory, London N7 0SF
Finishing to type this newsletter means I’ll be able to pick up the brushes again tomorrow, and I won’t lie I cannot wait! And as the joy of painting is always followed by the one of sharing it with you…stay tuned!
Be well my dear friends, thanks again for your support
